主講人簡介：Larry Backer(白 軻)教授是一位古巴裔美國學者，他就職于美國賓夕法尼亞州立大學（Penn State University）法學與國際事務學院，擔任法學和國際事務學教授（the W. Richard and Mary Eshelman Faculty Scholar Professor of Law and International Affairs），著名的憲法學、中國法、比較公司法和國際法學者。白軻教授的研究領域非常廣泛，包括了憲法、中國法、公司法、歐盟法、比較憲法學與比較公司法學、國際商業交易以及全球化過程中的法律問題等。他的著述頗豐，已發表近百篇學術論文，出版專著十余本。他擔任了Ashgate Publishing全球化法律與政策叢書編輯（Ashgate Publishing Globalization Law & Policy Series editor, 2010–），華盛頓非政府組織和平與倫理聯盟執行董事（the executive director of the Washington-based NGO Coalition for Peace and Ethics, 2006–），美國法律學會和歐洲公司治理學會的成員（the American Law Institute and the European Corporate Governance Institute）。他曾擔任荷蘭海牙法律國際化研究所（The Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law in the Netherlands），加拿大社會科學與人文研究委員會（Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada）等的同行評議專家。
